Ch Von Teufelhohle's Monterey Diamond Fabian aka "Louie" is our newest bulldog addition. He became a part of our family in late spring of 2011. Louie has placed well here in the shows in the US and placed very well in the puppy division in Russia with FCI prior to arriving in the United States.
His parents are both FCI Champions and Louie is Double registered AKC and FCI with 66 known CHAMPIONS in his 5 Generation Pedigree with Elite Foundation Bloodlines. He was purchased and imported from his breeder in Moscow, Russia at the age of 4 months. Both Von Teufelhöhle and Monterey Diamond are well known breeders in the FCI registry in their country. Both Breeders are known world wide for breeding Multiple INTERNATIONAL GRAND CHAMPIONS, RUSSIAN AND HUNGARIAN GRAND CHAMPIONS well as many other SHOW and CHALLANGE CHAMPIONS. These bloodlines have been researched and have proven to be healthy. I encourage you to Take a look at the foundation blood lines and the CHAMPIONS in Louie's Pedigree..... they are amazing? These bloodlines are well known for providing muscular builds and massive heads, wide chests big beautiful wrinkles and wonderful loving temperaments. FCI has a much higher standard for breeding and registration than AKC. AKC researches the lines and decides rather to accept the new blood into their registry. Louie is SHOW QUALITY and began showing as a puppy in Russia and continues showing in the United States with positive results and encouraging remarks from both judges and other breeders. We plan to pursue his showing career.
Sir Louie is a GREAT breeding prospect for many females as a majority of his CHAMPION lines are International (FCI) and are from some of the best bulldogs and bulldog breeders around the world, thus giving you more breeding options.
STUD SERVICE FOR LOUIE IS $550
(see below for additional fees that may apply)
Louie has proven to throw those SHOW QUALITY puppies
with big heads, wide chests and lots of big beautiful wrinkles!
Louie has recently been DNA' ed through AKC and his DNA profile put on record. He has been checked by a certified veterinarian for any deformities or bent tails in his sperm. His Sperm is examined quarterly by a Fertility Specialist and a sample is also sent to to the University of KY Fertility and Genetics Dept for further diagnostic testing. This will continue for as long as his services are used to ensure that everything is working properly. The sperm will ALWAYS be checked before shipping. Stud fee and shipping expenses must be paid in full prior to extraction.

When looking into breeding any breed, be dedicated to the breed and to their quality of life. Look for a male that will compliment your bloodlines. WE STRONGLY discourage inline breeding/breeding of the same blood -UNLESS- the blood is at least 5 Generations apart. Per the University of Kentucky Fertility & Genetics Department "This increases your chances of genetic imperfections causing gaps in the DNA strand structure and the start of genetic/hereditary problems that can affect the health and structure of the current generation as well as future generations." Breed for quality not quantity and for a litter or blood line that you can be proud to put your name on.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR keeping tract of the day your female's heat cycle begins (the day she starts bleeding) write it down in a place of easy access and notify us. This will help your vet to determine when she will be ready ovulate. We suggest starting tests at end of bleeding heat if not just before unless you know how your female cycles. Prior to your female's cycle you should discuss your breeding intentions with your vet and determine if they offer the additional services that will be needed prior to insemination according to your insemination needs.
These services include Progesterone Testing via Blood Serum digital (strongly recommended for ALL AI INSEMINATIONS)and vaginal swab(s) to determine cell cornification & changes, and if available a LH SURGE Test ( Luteinizing Hormone) all of which can be provided by your vet. All females cycle differently (some shorter/some longer) these tests will determine the best day(s) to inseminate. These are both VERY important in a successful breeding and have been proven to improve your chances of a healthy and larger litter. MORE ON THESE THESE TESTS
Why are FCI registered dogs so much healthier than AKC/CKC registered dogs?
